TTL Transistor-Transistor Logic, a
relatively-high-power IC logic
family; TTL logic is rarely used
in BEAMbots, but its interface
requirements are often used in CMOS
IC s. A bipolar
technology used for producing logic gates.
Positioned in the evolution of logic families
after RTL (resistor transistor
logic), DTL (diode transistor
logic) and before ECL and CMOS. See also the BEAM
From the Ground Up treatment on BEAM
and TTL ICs.
