Saturation (1) For a transistor, the state in which it is conducting its maximum emitter / collector current (2) for an inverter, the state in which its output voltage is either at ground or at Vcc (3) for an Nv net, the state in which alternate (i.e., all the even, or all the odd) Nvs are active.
